Cleansing Green Smoothie Recipe (with Parsley, Ginger & Cucumber)

There's a lot of debate about the nature of "detox" and if it's a real thing or not. I'm not a registered dietician or doctor or anything, so I cannot say much on the topic. What I DO know is this: all the ingredients in this smoothie are really good at keeping your body humming happy, and some have been shown to help get rid of toxins in the system. So whether or not it's truly a detoxifying smoothie, it's really good for ya.
- 1 cup parsley
- 1 apple
- 1 cup cucumber
- 4 frozen bananas
- 1 teaspoon chunk fresh ginger
- 2-3 cups water, as desired
- Handful pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Blend everything together until smooth and delicious!
